THE STORY OF ROTERRA:

Inspired by the 16th-century poem "Orlando Furioso," Roterra follows Princess Angelica as she defies stereotypes and takes control of her destiny. The puzzles throughout the game tell the story of a young girl discovering her magical powers and escaping challenging mazes created by her power-hungry brother, Orlando.

Navigating the cube-shaped puzzle world of Roterra, Angelica strives to reclaim her rightful place as Queen. Along the way, she learns that sometimes the journey itself is more important than the destination, stereotypes are misleading, and changing one's perspective is necessary to move forward.

Roterra Extreme™ continues the story from Orlando's perspective as he flees from pursuit after his plan to eliminate Angelica fails. This time, the mazes are created by the world of Roterra itself, punishing Orlando for stealing his sister's magic. Orlando's journey is arduous and frustrating, with unhelpful "helpers" and magic that twists and obstructs his path. As panic and disorientation set in, he starts experiencing hallucinations. Unlike Angelica's story of triumph and self-discovery, Orlando's sole focus is escaping pursuit and finding a secure place to regroup.
